6 Days Gorilla safari to DRC - Lowland & Mountain Gorilla Tour in DR Congo

 Day 1: Arrival at Kigali airport
On arrival at Kigali airport, you will be met by our company representative and transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight..


Day 2: Transfer to Goma
In the morning, you will be picked from the hotel and drive westwards to Gisenyi . Cross over to Goma in Dr Congo. Dinner and overnight in Goma


Day 3: Mountain Gorilla tracking
With packed lunch and drinks in the morning head off for the mountain gorilla tracking in Virunga National Park in Congo. After the briefing from the authorities of the park, set off for memorable Gorilla trekking adventure in the rain tropical forest searching for the habituated gorilla family. You will be in the presence of these beautiful primates for a maximum of one hour, for observation and photography.  After the experience of tracking, proceed to Goma, for dinner and overnight.


Day 4: Transfer to Bukavu
Having finished your breakfast, you will get on the ferry boat for the navigation on Lake Kivu. You reach Bukavu in the evening for dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Lowland Gorilla trekking
In the morning, you will move to Kausi Biega National park for lowland Gorilla traekking. This takes 2-5 hours. Return to Bukavu for relaxation. Dinner and overnight.


Day 6:  Goma
After breakfast, morning free at leisure. After lunch you will take the ferry boat for returning to Goma and later transfer back to Kigali for dinner and overnight.
