5 Days Uganda Tour - Mountain Gorillas, Wildlife Safari to Lake Mburo & Bwindi

Tour Name: Mountain Gorillas and Wildlife safari.

Tour Duration: 5 days, 4 Nights.

Destinations: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Mburo National Park and the Equator.

Tour activities: Gorilla Tracking, Birding, boat ride, and wildlife viewing.

Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast at the hotel andl drive south west taking the Masaka-Mbarara road, heading to Bwindi forest; the Home of Gorillas. You will stop at the Equator for photographs and in Mbarara for lunch to reach in the evening. Check in your lodge and then if you are not tired you may go for a walk to the neighboring community. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma homestead / Buhoma community.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in the Bwindi Gorilla Forest
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before proceeding to the forest for the memorable adventure. Depending on the movement of these humble giants the walk might take between 2-9 hours before you encounter the Gorillas. The walk is tiresome however meeting these great apes and spending some time with is an exhilarating and heartbreaking wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma homestead / Buhoma community.

Day 3: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park in Mbarara with Lunch break in Mbarara town. You will reach the park to drive and check in your lodge and then go for an afternoon boat ride and a walk in the Rwonyo area. Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp.

Day 4: Wildlife, Game drive & Canoe ride on Lake Mburo.
Early morning,go for a game drive in the park to search for predators and other animal species like the hyenas, leopards, jackals, zebras, impalas, Topis and eland to mention. After the game drive you will return to the Lodge for late breakfast and lunch and then in the afternoon you will go for a canoe ride on Lake Mburo to view water game in case you may have missed the previous evening.Expect swamps of hippos, crocodiles, and buffaloes at the shores not forgetting the birds. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp / Rwonyo Rest Camp.

Day 5; Drive to Kampala.
Have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala. You will have a game drive enroute to proceed and stop at the equator for photographs. You will reach Kampala in the evening.
