Chimpanzee Wildlife Safari - Tracking tour to Kibale Primates Forest & Ngamba Island Safari

Day 1: Arrival.
On arrival in Entebbe airport, you will be met by our company representative and transfer to your hotel to refresh and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Kampala-Kibale
Travel to Kibale Forest National Park. This equatorial forest is famous for 13 primates species and 350 bird species. Kibale's primates include Vervet, L'Hoest's, Red-tailed and Blue monkeys, in addition to Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red colobus, Black & white colobus, Olive baboon and Chimpanzee. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mountains of the Moon Guest House / Primate Lodge

Day 3: Chimp trekking : Kibale Forest
In the morning, we will go Chimp tracking in the forest. During the tracking, you will come across multi-specie troops of monkeys, birds, butterflies and other interesting natural features in this tropical rainforest. Meet and stay with the Chimpanzees to enjoy their playing antics as they play in the fruiting trees. Return to the Lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk at Bigodi wetland sanctuary to see more bird species and animals.Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mountains of the Moon Guest House / Primate Lodge

Day 4: Depart to Kampala

In the morning, depart to Kampala reaching early enough for lunch. Dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge/Kampala Lodge.


Day 5: Depart to Ngamba
In the morning, you will drive to Entebbe on Lake Victoria early enough to board a 45 minutes boat cruise to Ngamba Island Chimp Sanctually.On arrival at the island, you will be given a short introduction and briefing on the sanctuary.On the feeding time,It is fascinating to watch the chimps interact with each other and with their keepers. Enjoy the Chimpanzees as they behave amazingly as humans! Enjoy them play with the people feeding them and the family members behave as heads of human families!. Dinner and Overnight at Ngamba Island Camp

Day 6: Forest walks and fly out
For those who have had the required set of medical inoculations, you will go for the fascinating forest walk where you will have a great experience with the chimps as you walk along with them as they play. You will also be rewarded with view of many bird species with in the forest. Later, have a boat cruise back to Entebbe, where you will be transfered to the airport for your departure flight.
