Wildlife and Chimpanzees in Murchison Falls and Semuliki Reserve (5 Days)
Day One: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
In the morning after breakfast you will drive south west through Nakasongorwa Masindi to reach the park in the afternoon. On reaching the park you will hike to the top of the falls to see how the calm Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge through which it explodes into the falls. After you will transfer to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River lodge /Red chillie Camp.
Day Two: Game drive / Boat ride
In the morning before dawn you will go for a game drive through the park searching for predators and other game. The drive will reward you with game like Hyenas, Leopards, elephants, hartebeests, Oribis, Uganda Kobs, giraffes to mention. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile that takes you to the bottom of the falls. The ride will reward you with game like Crocodiles, Hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and plenty of birds like the Kingfishers.
Day Three: Drive to Kampala.
In the morning you will have breakfast and then transfer to the Kaniyo Pabidi area to track chimpanzees. After tracking you will then drive to Semliki wildlife reserve to reach the park in the late afternoon. You will check in your lodge rest and then have dinner after which you will go for a spot lit game drive in the reserve. The drive to reward you with species like the big cats, serval cats and plenty of nocturnal dwellers. Overnight at Semliki Safari Lodge
Day Four: Early morning game drive
In the morning after breakfast you will go for a game drive to park to search for more predators like the Lions, hyenas, leopards, side stripped jackals and others. Later on in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on Lake Albert to see colonies of red-throated bee-eaters dart in and out of their burrows. The boat ride will reward you with several fishing villages. Overnight at Semliki Safari Lodge (Full Board)
Day Five: Chimpanzee tracking/ Drive to Kampala
In the morning after breakfast you will go for a nature walk in the rainforest in search for chimpanzees and other primates. After the meeting these wild chimpanzees you will then drive back to Kampala to reach in the evening.
