Uganda offers a wide range of standards when it comes to accommodation - from five star hotels and first class luxury Lodges and Camps, to rustic bush camps, guesthouses and campsites. However, different in style and location these facilities might have, there is something common to all of them and that is the hospitality and the welcome that a visitor to Uganda is accorded. A smile and warm welcome runs deep in Uganda's culture and every visitor to Uganda is entitled to that experience.
Accommodation is not that expensive in Uganda. You can get accommodation depending on what you can rise (suites you), from the 5-star Serena Hotel and Sheraton Hotel in the centre of Kampala to Speke Resort Munyonyo on the shores of Lake Victoria and Hotel International on Muyenga Hill overlooking the city.
There are hotels of varying standards in all the major town. All the National Parks and major tourist sites have either hotels or camping sites or both. Camping charges can be as low as $10 a night. You can bring your own tent, buy or hire one.
