Queen, Bwindi, Kibale and Murchison Falls (8 Days)

Day One: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Briefing about how you can enjoy your camping safari. Start off for Murchison falls early in the morning. Have a stopover visit to the Rhino sanctuary. Have en route lunch at Masindi. Proceed to Murchison falls to see the top of the waters of the river Nile, exploding violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment. Game viewing in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at Red Chilli/Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day Two: Game drive / boat ride on the Victoria Nile.
Before dawn you will go for a game drive through the park searching for predators and other game. The drive will reward you with game like Hyenas, Leopards, elephants, hartebeests, Oribis, Uganda Kobs, giraffes to mention. In the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile that takes you to the bottom of the falls. The ride will reward you with game like Crocodiles, Hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and plenty of birds like the Kingfishers. Dinner and Overnight at Red Chilli/Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day Three; Transfer to Kibale National Park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park. The drive will take you about 6 hours to reach Fort portal taking you through the baeautiful rural country side filled with interesting natural escarpments as well as local homesteads. Reaching Fortportal by evening, have a brief tour of this mystical town overlooking the Mountains of the moon - Rwenzori Mountains. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mountains of the moon / Primates Lodge.

Day Four: Chimpanzee tracking / Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
This morning you will have breakfast and then transfer to Kibale NP Headquarters. You will be briefed about the whole process and tracking and then you will head along the tracks in the forest to search for chimpanzees. The walk through the park will be guided providing information about not only on chimpanzees but also on flora and fauna. You will then meet the chimpanzees and spend sometime watching them feeding and making theirs calls. If you are lucky to find then hunting this is the best time, as you watch them share the meat amongst themselves. After tracking you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park located on the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Mweya Institute of ecology.

Day Five;Wildlife Queen Elizabeth National Park / Boat Ride.
Very early in the morning before 6:00 am you will have breakfast and later take a morning game drive within the park. After the drive return to the lodge, have lunch and then in the afternoon go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and George. The launch cruise will reward you with game like hippos, buffaloes and other animals at the shores. For birders the launch cruise is another paradise, where by it rewards them with plenty of birds to include residents and migrant species at the shores. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Mweya Institute of ecology.

Day Six: Game drive / Drive to Bwindi Gorilla Park
Before sunrise you will go for a game drive in the pack to search for predator and nocturnal dwellers as they return to their hide outs. Expect species such as Elephants, buffaloes, side stripped jackals, hyena, leopards, Lions, warthogs, Uganda Kobs, Giant forest Hogs to mention. After the game drive you will drive through the Ishasha sector to transfer to Bwindi the Gorilla sanctuary .The drive will take you through the Ishasha sector to reach the park in the evening. Watch out for tree climbing Lions enroute. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma community Bandas.

Day Seven; Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, with packed lunch you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and then later on at 9:00 am you will set off along the tracks in the thick forest to go search for these great apes. Depending on the movement of these humble giants the walk might take between 2-9 hours before you encounter the Gorillas. The walk is tiresome however meeting these great apes and spending some time with them while looking deep into their expressive brown eyes, is an exhilarating and heartbreaking wildlife encounter that Africa has to offer. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma community.

Day eight: Drive to Kampala.
This morning have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala. The drive will take you to stop in one of the towns along the way for lunch and at the equator for photographs to reach the Kampala in the evening.
